Abstract

Limbungan Baru Village is a flood-prone area in the city of Pekanbaru. This is due to the high level of population density and the rapid development of the city which causes a reduction in the catchment area. This study aims to determine the total volume of flooding at 2 research points in the Limbungan Baru Village, namely Jalan Harapan and Komplek Griya Rumbai Lestari, and to plan flood reduction scenarios using the LID concept. Through this study, the planned rainfall intensity was calculated based on the 2002-2021 rainfall data obtained from BWSS III Riau. Then proceed to analyze the total flood volume using the EPA SWMM 5.2 device by inputting data in the form of area dimensions, elevation, percentage of watertight area, infiltration rate and dimensions of existing drainage. Furthermore, flood reduction scenario planning is carried out by utilizing LID technology. In this study, there are 5 scenarios that will be planned, namely (1) Rainwater Harvesting; (2) Infiltration Wells: (3) Bioretention; (4) Rainwater Harvesting & Infiltration Wells; (5) Infiltration & Bioretention Wells. Based on the planning results, it was found that the appropriate scenarios used at the research location were scenario 4 and scenario 5. So that a combined scenario of rainwater harvesting and infiltration wells was planned in the Griya Rumbai Lestari complex with a total of 70 PAH units with a tank capacity of 1000 L and 40 infiltration wells with a diameter of 1.5 m. 5 m depth. Meanwhile, for Jalan Harapan, it is planned that 50 infiltration wells with a diameter of 1.5 m, a depth of 6 m and 20 bioretention wells with a size of 10 x 10 x 0.4 m are planned. Then it was found that the reduction in discharge before LID planning and after LID planning was 438 m, where the volume of the flood share before LID was 470 m and the flood share volume after LID was 32 m.
