Abstract

Reduced oil production during waterflooding is a problem that occurs in wells that have been producing for a long time. There are several ways to increase production, one of which is chemical injection treatment. But this method requires additional costs, so it is necessary to calculate the economy before using this method. The method used is the PSC (Production Sharing Contract) profit sharing contract system in order to determine the feasibility of the economic value of chemical injection treatment. The economic parameters to be calculated are Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and also Pay Out Time (POT). The results showed that the chemical injection treatment using a demulsifier and bacteriside with the amount of chemical injected as much as 130.9 bbl was successfully carried out because from the monitoring results it was found that the initial oil increase was 5 bbl/d to 75 bbl/d with a decrease in watercut of 3% from an average of 95%. to 92%. From the analysis of economic calculations, the results of the chemical injection treatment with NPV parameters at 10% are positive, namely 315,613.05 USD, IRR>MARR which is worth 256.52%> 10%, with POT or payback time for 3-4 months from 12 months of treatment age. then this chemical injection treatment is feasible and meets the waterflood standard to be applied to well 31 in the Yusmiarti.
