Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of mosque youth in fostering juvenile delinquency in the Teluk Island Hulu Dusun Darussalam District, Rimba Melintang District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Determination of the subject or respondent in this study was carried out using purposive sampling by getting 4 informants from the Darussalam Mosque Youth. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews, (deep interviews), and documentation. The results of the study stated that the efforts made by Mosque Youth in Fostering Juvenile Delinquency in Teluk Pulau Hulu Dusun Darussalam, Rimba Melintang District, Rokan Hilir Regency were going well, this can be seen through a program of activities carried out with various da'wah methods used. In this case, the Darussalam Mosque Youth has 2 (two) forms of coaching and guidance activity programs, namely da'wah bil verbal and bil hal (actions) such as evening recitation programs such as reading yasin, tausyah, learning the Koran, besides the da'wah program bil hal (deeds) in the form of donation for orphans/poor, alms Friday blessing, Family Ghatering The purpose of this da'wah program is to provide motivation, the spirit of da'wah and at the same time provide guidance to Muslim youth and increase their Islamic talent.
