Abstract
Tourism area that had many object tourism to be developed. By utilize the potential and opportunity, it could increase the visitor whose visit the tourism. This research was conducted in Siak Sri Indrapura Siak Regency, and focused on Sultan Syarif Hasim Mosque that had attractiveness to be a religious tourism object at Siak Sri Indrapura Siak Regency. As a benchmark to know the potential in a tourism object, it should do environment analysis that consisted of internal environment analysis to know the strength, weakness, and external environment analysis to know opportunity and threats. Data source in this research was primer data from mosque manager of Sultan Syarif Hasim Mosque and the visitors. This research used field research, the method used descriptive qualitative. Data collection technique used observation, interview, and documentation. After the data was collected, it was analyzed by using SWOT analysis (strength, weakness, opportunity, and threats). Based on SWOT analysis result, it showed that Sultan Syarif Hasim Mosque had potential to be religious toursm object at Siak Sri Indrapura Siak Regency, it because of natural beautiful potential, strategic place, good quality services, easy access to location, and save and comfort environment. The weakness was the lack of child friendly facility.
