Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the jJigsaw model on achievement motivation at SMAN 6 SiaK Hulu. The method used in this study is a type of correlational quantitative research. The subjects in this study were grade VII students of SMPN 6 Siak Hulu, the object of this research was the influence of the Jigsaw Model on Achievement Motivation. The population in this study amounted to 159 students with a sample of 114 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Based on the data analysis that has been done, it is known that there is an effect of the Jigsaw Model on the achievement motivation of SMAN 6 Silk Hulu students. It is known that the results of simple linear regression analysis with a significance value of 0.106, then 0.106 is greater than 0.05, so the research hypothesis is accepted. The magnitude of the influence of the Jigsaw Model of 0.569 or 56.9% is categorized as moderate, because it is in the range of 0.40-0.599 as contained in the correlation coefficient interpretation table, while the remaining 41.1% is influenced by other things. Thus the hypothesis is accepted, the level of relationship between the influence of the JIgsaw Model on the achievement motivation abilities of SMPN 6 Siak Hulu students is in the medium category.
