Abstract
Learning outcomes are the ability of students to meet the stages of achieving learning experience in a basic competency. With these results the teacher is able to assess and generalize students and see what is lacking in learning, the learning outcomes have a relationship with student attitudes, both learning attitudes and students' psychological attitudes. Students who have a good attitude in learning will be able to provide sufficient and significant learning outcomes each semester. This is what makes the researcher aim to see whether there is a relationship between attitudes and mathematics learning outcomes at SMPN 6 Siak Hulu. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire given to students. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP 6 Siak Hulu totaling 196 people. And the sampling technique in this study using random sampling, namely 49 people. The data analysis techniques in this study were validity and reliability tests and used product moment correlation. Based on the results of this study, students' attitudes have a very strong relationship with the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP 6 SiakHulu. This is known from the product moment correlation coefficient, namely 8.98. And it has a positive correlation relationship that the value of t is greater than t table (6.89> 1.67). So it can be concluded that student attitudes have a positive and significant relationship with mathematics learning outcomes of students at SMP 6 Siak Hulu.
