Abstract

This research was conducted at Serumpun Jaya Village, Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, which aims to determine whether the application of financial accounting in the village administration of the Serumpun Jaya Village, Pasir Penyu District, is in accordance with the principles of generally accepted accounting principles. In this study the authors found several problems, namely Serumpun Jaya Village has not yet presented the Ledger, Balance Sheet, and Work Sheet. In addition, in the Village Property Wealth Report, the number of assets obtained in 2018 is not reported in the 2019 Village Property Report. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. While the techniques used by researchers in data collection techniques are interview and documentation techniques. Then the data analysis technique used descriptive methods. Based on the results of this study indicate that the application of financial accounting in Serumpun Jaya Village Government, Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency in the application of accounting has not been implemented as a whole and is not fully in accordance with the General Accepted Accounting Principles.
