Abstract

The house door security system against earthquake disasters is an application that utilizes information technology to help facilitate users in obtaining earthquake information. The purpose of this study is to develop an application that can detect earthquakes in realtime based on mobile to determine the magnitude of the earthquake scale which consists of 12 MMI scale categories, namely instrumental earthquakes (category 1), very weak earthquakes (category 2), moderately weak earthquakes (category 3), weak earthquake (category 4), moderately strong earthquake (category 5), strong earthquake (category 6), very strong earthquake (category 7), destructive earthquake (category 8), severe earthquake (category 9), very severe earthquake ( category 10), extreme earthquake (category 11), very extreme earthquake (category 12). This system can provide notifications on all smartphones just by installing the application. The result of this research is the creation of a house door security system against earthquake disasters, this tool can be the best solution to help reduce the number of victims when an earthquake occurs in various places such as office buildings and housing developed with a mobile-based system.
