Abstract
The need for computer networks continues to increase which causes the size and number of network devices to increase so that network availability remains optimal. Therefore, the increasing number of network devices installed can increase the risk of interference or damage so that real time network monitoring is needed. So we need a monitoring system that can monitor directly and ensure good network needs and can be comfortable when used. Based on observations, it is necessary to implement a computer network monitoring system using the Attix5 Traffic Monitor application on Mikrotik to simplify and speed up the detection of problems that often occur in the network. With the implementation of the attix traffic monitor application at SMK Taruna Satria Pekanbaru, it can make it easier for an admin to monitor the IP client that has been connected to the network and can see the size of the bandwidth being used by looking at the download and upload traffic.
