Abstract

In the development of technological advances, especially in the automotive world in Indonesia, Indonesia has recently increased very rapidly, various kinds of technology automotive, especially motorcycles that are used in everyday life. This electric turbo is one of the automotive technologies that is useful for reduce fuel on motorcycles, namely by using turbo technology electric. Testing Analysis of the Effect of Electric Turbo Rotation Variations on Performance Motorcycle Engine. This test uses tools, namely, dyno test, tachometer, anemometer, vario 125 cc, and electric turbo. The materials used are all specific and can be used with used materials, in the form of a mini fan by adding a pipe to connection of the electric turbo to the air filter, to obtain clean air needed to produce perfect air. From the electric turbo rotation which will be varied 1000 RPM, 2000 RPM, 3000 RPM, 400 RPM, 5000 RPM, 600 RPM. So, from the most electric turbo rotation, efficient will likely be able to increase the performance of motorcycle engines and save materials burn. After the test is carried out, it can be seen that there is an influence of variation electric turbo rotation, the greater the electric turbo rotation of 1000 RPM, 2000 RPM, 3000 RPM, 4000 RPM, 5000 RPM the bigger the motorcycle engine torque the. At 6000 RPM rotation there is a decrease in engine torque, because the air produced is very large, resulting in fuel with air that does not balanced then there is poor fuel. Based on the tests that have been carried out, there is an electric turbo rotation 5000 RPM motorcycle engine performance is very good, with a torque of 5.98 Nm and a power of 5.79 kW. This happens because the air produced by the rotation 5000 RPM electric turbo is proportional to the fuel, so the bike engine performance motor increases.
