Abstract

In the palm oil plantation arrangement activities, the plantation owner is delegated in the process of maintaining it to the workers and witnessed by the customary chief directly in the agreement process. Sharing activities from the agreement between the customary communities in Kayu Raja Village were carried out with the agreement that the results of the oil palm plantation were divided into two or two to one. Most are found in the field of cultivators only managing in terms of harvest, while post-harvest maintenance of oil palm fruit is not carried out, while the cycle in oil palm plantation management activities is in terms of repeated maintenance or carried out every few months after harvest, so that the oil palm fruit can return to fruit good quality. From this background, a formulation of the problem can be drawn, among others: How are customary arrangements regarding the management of oil palm plantations in the Kayu Raja Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency? And what customary sanctions can be given to oil palm plantation managers in Kayu Raja Village, Keritang Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency if they do not carry out an amendment agreement based on customary law? This type of research is included in the observation research group. . Data sources are primary data, which can be data from the field of research scope and secondary data in the form of literature books, charts, agreement files and so on. The data collection tools used were questionnaires and interviews. Also required population and sample. Meanwhile, when viewed from its nature, it is descriptive analytical. The object of this research is about the management of oil palm plantations in Kayu Raja Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research location is in Kayu Raja Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The results of this study indicate that the customary arrangement of the distribution of the results of oil palm plantation management in Kayu Raja Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency with a compensation system based on an agreement between plantation owners and oil palm plantation workers, if the distribution of oil palm plantations in Kayu Raja Village Keritang Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency, consists of two parts for garden owners and one part for plantation workers (2: 1), because the garden owners provide land (land), oil palm seeds, fertilizer to poison for the maintenance of oil palm plantations. And one part is for plantation workers because plantation workers only carry out plantation management and process the harvesting of oil palm plantations. As well as in the implementation of the agreement on the management system of oil palm plantations, if one of the parties involved in the agreement does not carry out the agreed agreement, the customary sanctions that can be imposed on the offender are in the form of social sanctions from the local customary community, and that Not in the form of general sanctions such as criminal sanctions let alone civil sanctions and administrative sanctions, nor in the form of fines. Remembering the violation of the oil palm plantation management agreement in Kayu Raja Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, is a minor offense.
