Abstract

This study aims improve learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning biology type time token using graders XI IPA 2 SMA YLPI Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2016/2017, which to 23 students with 10 male students and 13 female students. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was held on April until mey 2017. Parameter meansured were student learning outcomes in the form of absorpsion and mastery learning students. The data analysis technique use is descriptive. The results of ten meetings, the Concept Understanding Knowledge students gained absorption increased by 15,31% from the prior CAR (72,65%) after the first cyle CAR (72,65%) and increased to 3,87% after the second cycle CAR(91,83%). Students mastery before CAR (52,17%) an increased to (91,30%) after the first cycle of CAR the second cycle an increased to (100%).The Performance Scientific students gained absorption increased of 4,35% after the second cycly CAR (87,31%). Students mastery before CAR (78,26%) an increased to (82,60%) after the first cycle of CAR the second cycle an increased to (100%).
