Abstract

Research location Groundwater exploration using the Schlumberger geoelectric method was carried out in Hamlet I Gaung, Ketaping Jaya Village, Inuman District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The identification of this aquifer layer uses rock type resistance parameters by injecting currents to the surface to determine the condition of the subsoil and the presence of aquifers in the study area. Based on the results of data processing, interpretation using PROGRESS software and Ip2win get results in the form of resistivity logs. There are two (2) estimation points, namely GL-1 and GL-2 as a whole have a layer of overburden, clay, gravel, gravel, sand, and coarse sand. The layer that has aquifer potential at GL-2 has a fairly thick layer with a depth of 3.56 – 31.20 meters and a resistivity value of 92.37 Ohms. It is a river basin deposit consisting of sand, coarse sand, gravel, and gravel which is quite thick, while in GL-1 it has a resistivity value of 111.5 Ohms and a depth of 18.97 – 39.00 with a lithology of sand, coarse sand, and clay. To maximize the results of the research, sampling of water from citizen wells was also carried out in the research area as many as 7 samples of ring well water to determine the quality and quantity of groundwater based on the physical and chemical properties of groundwater and several supporting parameters such as odor, color, taste, temperature, conductivity. electricity, TDS and pH according to PERMENKES No. 492 of 2010. The analysis was carried out based on the contour pattern, there were centers of flow and distribution of groundwater, 3 unfit wells and 4 suitable wells had a tasteless, colorless, and odorless temperature. about 27.2°C to 27.6°C. the average TDS value of the wells is <500mg/l and the DHL value is between 54.2 – 114.7 S/cm, that is, well water is a type of groundwater, and only 1 well has a pH >7, the average pH of the study area indicates that the water is suitable for consumption.
