Abstract

The research that the writer did was entitled analysis of deep dysphemism types Riau Pos newspaper headlines. The importance of this issue is examined to find out the type of dysphemism in newspapers that the people of Riau generally read. The problem in this study is what types of dysphemism are found in the main news of the April 2020 edition of the Riau Pos newspaper. This research is intended to describes the type of dysphemism contained in the headlines of the Riau newspapers April 2020 edition of the post. The theory that the author uses is the theory put forward by Aceng Ruhendi 2018. The research method used is content analysis (content analysis). Data collection techniques are documentation techniques and techniques hermeneutic. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The interpretation of the data in this research dam is type The most common type of dysphemism in the headlines of the Riau Pos newspaper is type hidden statements of 26 data and the use of deep dysphemism types Riau Pos Newspaper headlines at least on phonetic similarities, modeling new and circumlocution both have 1 data. The conclusion of this research namely the type of new modeling dysphemism 1 data, type of phonetic similarity 4 data, type circumlocutionary dysphemism 1 data, type of hidden statement dysphemism 26 data, type of dysphemism word borrow 2 data in the main story of Riau Pos newspaper edition 130 April 2020.
