Abstract

This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. The study was conducted for four months starting from March to June 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the main and interaction effects of Organic and Hormone NPK on gelatik eggplant plants. This study used a completely randomized factorial design consisting of two factors. The first factor is the NPK Organic Dosage (N) which consists of four levels, namely 0, 30, 60 and 90 g per plant. The second factor is the concentration of hormone (H) which consists of four levels, namely 0, 2, 4 and 6 ml per liter of water. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, number of primary branches, harvest age, number of fruit crops, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit and number of residual fruits. Data were analyzed statistically and continued with the Honest Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between Organic and Hormone NPK had a significant effect on plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit planted, fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight per fruit. The best treatment was a combination of 60 g / plant Organic NPK Dose and 4 ml / liter water (N2H2) hormone concentration. The main effect of organic NPK was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was the dose of Organic NPK 60 g / plant (N2). The main effect of Hormone was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is a concentration of 4 ml / liter of water (H2).
