Abstract

This study aims to produce a learning teaching materials based on problem-based learning models oriented to mathematical critical thinking skillsthat is valid. Teaching materials are materials or subject matter that are arranged systematically, which are used by teachers / educators and students / students in the learning process. The teaching materials are developedin the form of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD). The development model used in this research is the ADDIE model which is modified into 3 stages, namely: (1) Analysis, (2) Design (design), (3) Development (development).In the ADDIE model, researcherdid not use the Implementation and Evaluation stages because at this time therewas still in the situationof the Covid-19 pandemic. The data analysis technique useddescriptive statistical analysis which describes the data that has been collected and tested for its validity. The validation of teaching materials was carried out by 4 validators consisting of 2 mathematics education lecturers at the Islamic University ofRiau and 2 teachers of mathematics subject in MAN 3 Kampar. The results of the data obtained from the validation of learning teaching materials from the validator were then analyzed. From the results of the study, the results of the validation of the RPP for each aspect were assessed at 85.31% with very valid validity criteria and the overall RPP results witha value of 85.56% with very valid validity criteria. For the results of the LKPD validation, each aspect was assessed at 83.41% with valid validity criteria and the overall validation results with a value of 82.165% with valid validity criteria. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of teaching materials based on problem-based learning is oriented towards the critical thinking skills of class X MAN 3 Kampar whose validity has been tested is feasible to be used and tested
