Abstract
This research entitled "Cultivation of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) with Various Organic Fertilizers and Doses of Grand-K on Peat Soil" under the guidance of Mr. Ir. Sulhaswardi, MP. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City for 4 months, starting from December 2019 to March 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of organic fertilizers and grand-K in increasing growth and production. onion plants on peat soil. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) 4x4 factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor is various organic fertilizers consisting of 4 levels, namely trichocompost, chicken coop, cow coop and taspu, the second factor is the grand-K dose which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 0.375, 0.750, 1.125 g / plant repeated 3 times, so that 48 experimental units are obtained. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves per polybag, age of harvest, number of tubers per polybag, tuber wet weight per polybag, tuber diameter, tuber dry weight per polybag, tuber weight loss per polybag and tuber grade. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the honest real difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of various organic fertilizers and grand-K had an effect on plant height. The best treatment was the combination of P2K1 treatment (chicken manure and grand-K at a dose of 0.375 g / plant. The main effect of various organic fertilizers on plant height, number of leaves, age of harvest and number of tubers The best treatment of chicken manure (P2) for plant height, cow manure (P3) for number of leaves and number of tubers, and trichocompost fertilizer (P1) for harvesting age. affect all parameters.
