Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Duties of the Sports and Tourism Youth Office and the Culture of Indragiri Hulu Regency in developing Tembulun Waterfall Tourism Object. The problem raised in this study is about the implementation of the tasks of the Youth and Sports and Tourism and Culture Office in developing tourism places both in terms of safety, comfort, facilities, rides, so that tourists are interested in visiting tourist attractions in Indragiri Regency Hulu one of them is Tembulun Waterfall. The performance assessment indicators used include communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The type of research that is located in Indragiri Hulu Regency is a descriptive survey, which prioritizes the questionnaire list as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical conditions of the objectivity of the existence of research objectives at the location under study. There are three population groups and the sample of this research are employees of Indragiri Hulu Regency Office, amounting to 2 people, and manager of the location of Tembulun waterfall tourism objects, amounting to 3 people and also people who visit Tembulun waterfall totaling 30 people. The sample size determined from these three population groups is 2, 3 and 16 people. The two sampling techniques used in determining individual samples are the census technique for the employee population and tourism management, and the purposive sampling technique for the community that is around the tourist sites. Types and data collection techniques used consist of, primary data collected using questionnaire questionnaire and interview techniques and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique, the writer assesses and concludes that the Implementation of the Task of the Department of Youth Sports and Tourism and Culture of Indragiri Hulu Regency in Developing is at the interval of the assessment of "Quite Done".
