Abstract
The problem that occurs in the AD well is that the water content (water cut) is high so that the gas production of the well. Efforts to increase gas production in the "R" field include the Rework Transfer of Layers. Layer Switching Rework is a method of switching layers by opening a new productive layer. To determine which layer is needed, it is necessary to evaluate the formation by re-interpreting the logs both qualitatively and quantitatively. To find out based on economics, what is done in this study is the calculation of the economics of gross split contracts. The data needed in this analysis are gas production data, cost data including investment costs and operating costs, as well as other supporting data. Then the calculation is carried out using economic indicators and the calculation is based on a gross split contract consisting of a base split, a variable split, and a progressive split. So that the NPV value is U$ 7,782,151, IRR 179% and POT 0,217 years.
