Abstract

The agricultural sector has a very large role in providing raw materials in the agricultural product management industry (agroindustry), such as one of Pak Henry's beef skin cracker agrondustri businesses. This study aims to: (1) Analyze the characteristics of entrepreneurs and business profiles of agroindsutri cowhide crackers. (2) Know use of raw and supporting materials, production technology, labor, production cost, production, income, efficiency and added value. (3) Analyze channels, marketing institutions and marketing functions, cost, profit, margin and marketing efficiency. This research wasconducted for 6 months, starting from Junei to November 2020.. This research was conducted by survei method with respondents of cattle skin crackers businessman pak henry which di did intentionally (purposive sampling) and 2 samples of retailers. The results showed that the age of the entrepreneur is in the productive age group, which is 35 years, the length of the entrepreneur's education is 6 years (elementary level). 8 years of trying experience with 4 family members. The scale of the business is included in the scale of small businesses with their own capital. The use of raw materials of cowhide crackers Per production process of 123 kg with the use of supporting materials include: salt 12 pack, LPG Gas 3 kg 4 tubes, firewood 0.1m3,mixed seasoning 3 kg and cooking oil 70 kg. The technology used is simple technology. The workforce used amounted to 6 people with 6.44 HOK. Production done by entrepreneurs is 10 times the production process per month. Total production cost was Rp.4,927,425 Per production process. Gross Revenue of Rp. 8,125.00 Per Production Process and net income of Rp. 3,197,575 Per production process, business efficiency of 1.64. Added value of Rp. 18,000 Per kg. Furthermore, there are 2 channels, and there are 2 marketing agencies involved in marketing mr. Henry cowhide crackers, namely channel I entrepreneurs to retailers and Channel II entrepreneurs to consumers. There are 6 marketing functions namely: purchasing, selling, transportation, storage, market information and risk-taking. The marketing cost of channel I is Rp. 16,874, channel II has no marketing costs. The profit of channel I is Rp.123.126 Per kg. While channel II is not an advantage because there are no costs incurred in marketing and margin. The marketing margin of channel I is Rp.140.000 Per kg. Margin on channel II does not have a marketing margin, it is because the purchase price of the entrepreneur and the selling price of the entrepreneur to consumers are the same Efficiency of channel I is 7.45%, channel II has an efficiency of 0%, it is because in channel II there is no cost incurred between the entrepreneur and the consumer.
