Abstract

This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, for four months starting from January to May 2020. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the main and interaction between TASPU and TSP fertilizers on the growth and yield of inpago 10 upland rice. The design used was a factorial completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor is TASPU (T) fertilizer, there are 4 levels of treatment: 0; 1; 2; 3 kg / plot and the second factor was TSP (P) fertilizer consisting of 4 levels: 0; 10; 15; 20 g / plot. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, number of tillers, number of productive tillers per clump, harvesting age, dry grain production per clump, weight of 100 rice seeds, number of well-laden grains per panicle, and number of empty grains per panicle. Observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with further test of Honest Real Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of TASPU and TSP fertilizers affected the observed parameters, namely plant height, flowering age, number of tillers, number of productive tillers per clump, weight of 100 rice seeds, number of pithy grains per panicle and number of empty grains per panicle with the best treatment of TASPU fertilizer. 3 kg / plot and TSP 20 g / plot (T3P3). The main effect of TASPU fertilizer is on all parameters of the observation. The best treatment is found in TASPU 3 kg / plot (T3) fertilizer. The main effect of TSP fertilizer was significant on the observed parameters, namely flowering age, number of tillers, number of productive tillers per clump, harvesting age, production of grain clumps, weight of 100 grains, number of pithy grains per panicle and number of empty grains per panicle, the best treatment was TSP 20 g / plot.
