Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the policies of UD. Mutiara Alam in choosing an effective supplier, using the factor weighting and Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP) method. This research shows that UD. Mutiara Alam has several criteria that they set in selecting suppliers, namely the delivery system, production system and supplier system. In each factor has several criteria that support these factors. These methods compare the two suppliers' criteria into consideration by UD. Mutiara Alam. The final result of AHP is PT. Charoen Pokhphand Jaya which is more effective as a permanent supplier at UD. Mutiara Alam.
