Abstract
Productive zakat was given to mustahik as capital to execute an economy activity in form of business, which developed economy level with the potential of mustahiq productivity. This research was conducted in National Amil Zakat (BAZNAS) Riau Province where it was a zakat institution in Riau Province that collecting and distributing zakat funds. Research problem in this research was how the effectiveness in collecting and distributing productive zakat in National Amil Zakat (BAZNAS) Riau Province. Meanwhile, the purpose of this research was to know the effectiveness in collecting and distributing productive zakat in National Amil Zakat (BAZNAS) Riau Province. This research was qualitative with data collection technique used interview and documentation. Then, the collection data was analyzed by using qualitative descriptive theory, data reduction, data presentation and taking conclusion. Based on interview analysis data with the chairman of National Amil Zakat (BAZNAS) Riau Province, the head of collection division, and the head of distribution division, could be concluded that the effectiveness in collecting and distributing productive zakat had been effectively, in case of the productive data collection was executed by direct and indirect, while productive zakat distribution was executed by four programs; Riau Care Program, prosperous Riau with the distribution in form of reproduce livestock business capital, main tools to work, Smart Riau Program, in form of education scholarship, and the distribution through Riau Healthy Program in cooperation with Al-Anshari Foundation for drugs abuse rehabilitation and hospital.
