Abstract
This study deals with "whether reward and punishment significantly influence employee performance at BOB PT. Bumi Siak Pusako - Upstream Pertamina ". The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of reward and punishment on employee performance. The sample in this study all operational section employees totaling 48 respondents. Then do the statistical analysis including validity and reliability, hypothesis testing through the F test and T test as well as the coefficient of determination (R2) test. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis can be seen that the reward has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at BOB PT. Bumi Siak Pusako - Pertamina Hulu. Whereas punishment is a positive influence but does not significantly influence employee performance, and reward and punishment simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of the company's employees. The R Square figure shows that employee performance can be explained by two variables namely reward and punishment in the multiple linear regression equation. While the rest is explained by other variables.
