Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the supervision of the industry and trade agencies in seeking control of the circulation of food and beverages to protect consumers. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, the research method in which case studies lead to a detailed and in-depth description of the condition portrait of what actually happens in the field. Key informants are the head of the industry and trade department, the head of trade development, and the official of the service. Types and sources of data used are primary data using interview list techniques and secondary data using observation techniques. Based on the analysis technique of the study, it was concluded that the supervision of the industry and trade offices of the distribution of food and beverages in the Mandau sub-district of Bengkalis district with the aim of providing protection for consumers who consume food and beverages in circulation.
