Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the application of accounting carried out by motorcycle workshop entrepreneurs whether it is in accordance with the basic concept of accounting. This research was conducted in Mandau Subdistrict, Bengkalis District. In connection with this research the object of research is the business of motorcycle workshop in the Mandau Subdistrict of Bengkalis District. The data collected is primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques in this study are interviews, documentation and observation. After all the data has been collected then the data is analyzed using descriptive methods. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of accounting to the motorcycle workshop businesses in Mandau Subdistrict of Bengkalis District is not in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting.
