Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine whether profitability, solvency, liquidity, and company size have a significant effect on financial distress in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. The sample was determined by using purposive sample method. The number of samples selected as many as 23 companies from 35 companies. This research uses multiple regression method. The results of this study indicate that profitability and liquidity have a positive and significant effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, solvency has a negative and significant effect on financial distress. Company size has no significant effect and has a negative relationship to Financial Distress in property and real estate companies listed on the IDX in 2016-2019.
