Abstract

This study aims to test the validity and practicality of the development of powerpoint-based mathematics learning media on the material system of linear equations of three variables in class X in high school. The subject of this research is class X students at SMAN 1 Siak Kecil. This type of research is research Development using the ADDIE model, namely from the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluate. The method used in data collection is interviews and questionnaires. Instruments used in This research is a validation sheet and student response questionnaire sheets. Results assessment of the validity of the learning media obtained based on the validation sheet that is, with a value of 82.67%, the learning media developed is very good valid. Field trials based on student response questionnaires obtained the value of 78.08% can be categorized as practical learning media. Then get concluded that this powerpoint-based learning media is very valid and practically used as a learning medium.
