Abstract

Along with the development of times and technology, the transactions of buying and selling which previously conducted by bartering, then the process of buying and selling was replaced by using an instrument in the form of money, in other words the transactions began to be carried out by exchanging goods for money. Then, several decades later the humans invented credit card technology as a substitute for real money in trading transactions. Eventually, the humans have recently started to change their buying and selling habits from being physically visible to the online system. Considering the current phenomena, it turns out that the transactions make many buyers feel disadvantaged because the goods received are not the same as the pictures or the goods received are defective or the goods are not delivered to the buyers, etc. This study aims to determine the review of sharia Economics on online shopping and selling. The object of this study is a review of sharia economics on online shopping and selling. The method of this study is a library research. The theoretical framework of this study is the approach of Sharia economics to online shopping and selling. The data sources consist of primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are documentation, namely the systematic analysis of qualitative data (editing, classification, coding, and interpretation). The analysis carried out on the conditions and principles of online shopping and selling based on the perspective of Sharia economics. The results of this study are: 1. Online selling has fulfilled the contract terms according to the sharia rules, including: the existence of sellers and buyers, sighah or consent has been fulfilled because the buyers must agree to the written terms and conditions before the buying and selling transaction process is done, the contract in online shopping and selling must be real and appropriate with the specifications, the purpose of the transaction must not be contrary to Islamic law. 2. In online shopping and selling, it must show the complete appearance and specifications of the goods. In addition, the buyers must have the right to reject/return the goods if the goods arrived are not in accordance with the specifications agreed upon at the beginning of the agreement. Therefore, it is beter to use safe and convenient payment methods, to protect the sellers or the buyers from the cheating/fraud.
