Abstract
this study was to determine the income level of sago farmers in Tebing Tinggi Timur District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency and the factors that affect sago farmers in Tebing Tinggi Timur District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. The research was conducted by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires. To facilitate the research, the writer uses side purposive. The population of this study were 12 owners of sago farming in Tebing Tinggi Timur District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency. The results of this study are based on the results of obtaining field data regarding the income obtained by sago entrepreneurs in Tebing Tinggi Timur District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency, it is known that the entrepreneur's income has increased which is adjusted to the number of consumer demands and the results of sago farmers who are worked on by land area so that they can sell more sago. again. From the results of the t test for the capital factor obtained t sig = 0.042, it can be concluded that the capital factor has an effect on sago farmers. The t test for the farmer factor obtained t sig = 0.019, it can be concluded that the labor factor has an effect on sago farmers. The t test for the land area factor obtained t sig = 0.033, it can be concluded that the factor of land area has an effect on sago farmers. The coefficient of determination is 0.458. That means contribution the effect of capital, labor and land area on income of sago farmers in Tebing Tinggi Timur District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency 45.8% while the remaining 54.2% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.
