Abstract

The problem in this study is that the semester exam that will be given to students has never been tested on the grounds of maintaining the confidentiality of the problem and there are still many teachers of Indonesian subjects grade VII MTsN 7 Kampar Kampar District Left Kampar District Kampar School Year 2019/2020 who do not consider the level of difficulty and ease of a question so that this research aims to decrypt, analyze and interpret the Odd Semester Exam of Indonesian Language Subjects Class VII MTsN 7 Kampar Year 2019/2020. The research approach used by the authors in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The sample in this study is the whole question of multiple choice which amounts to 40 questions. The theory used in this study is the theory of Nurgiyantoro, Sudjanan and Arikunto. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that The Analysis of The Odd Semester Exam of Indonesian Language Subjects Class VII MTsN 7 Kampar Year 2019/2020, in the aspect of the difficulty level index seen from the difficulty there is already a balance between the problems that are category easy, medium and difficult. An easy-to-answer question amounts to 11 questions (27.5%), a question that is in the category of 21 questions (52.5%), and a difficult question of 8 questions (20%). In terms of the power index, different ities are reviewed in terms of eligibility for the Odd Semester Exam of Indonesian Language Subjects Class VII MTsN 7 Kampar Year 2019/2020, which is eligible for 28 questions (70%) and not worth 12 questions (30%). In accordance with the hypothesis in this study that the index of difficulty level of grains about the odd semester exam of Indonesian language subjects class VII MTsN 7 Kampar year 2019/2020 is classified as moderate. Meanwhile, the power index of different items about the odd semester exam of Indonesian language subjects class VII MTsN 7 Kampar in the 2019/2020 school year is considered feasible.
