Abstract
This study aims to evaluate inpatient health services at the Karimun District General Hospital and to determine the barriers to inpatient health services at the Karimun District General Hospital. This research method id a descriptive survey. This research is located at the Regional General Hospital of Karimun Regency. The population in the this study consisted of the Head of Services, Medical Personnal and Family/Inpatients with a total sample of 22 people. The sampling technique for the head of Service was carried out by using a census technique. The medical personnel at the Karimun District General Hospital were carried out using purposive sampling technique, meanwhile for the patien’s family using the accidental sampling technique, only the patient and patient’s family were found who taken as the sample. The results showes that inpatient health services at the Regonal General Hospital of Karimun Regency were quite good, this conclusion was in accordance with the predetermined measurement techniques that said the category was quite good at a percentage 34-66%, meaning that not all of the six indicators used were implemented. Well. Barriers to inpatient health services at the Regional General Hospital of Karimun Regency, namely: lack of work facilities and infrastructure, lack of motivation from nurses in increasing their abilities and skills.
