Abstract
This study aims to determine how the role of BUMDesa Amanah in Bukit Gajah Village and BUMDesa Air Hitam Makmur in the Air Hitam Village in carrying out savings and loans, while this research is a qualitative study using role theory by Soekanto. Where in carrying out the role there are 3 things that must be considered Role, Individuals and social structure. The technique used in this study is the sampling technique by taking into account the time and period of research and the sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data while the data collection techniques in this study are observation, in-depth interviews, documentation. And using qualitative data analysis techniques. The informants and key informants in this study were the village government and BUMDesa Gajah village management and the black water village. The focus of the author's research is the shift from UED-SP to BUMDesa, understanding the duties and functions of BUMDesa Role managers / rules, individuals, and social structures and what are the obstacles in the implementation of savings and loans.
