Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Duties of Clerks in Dayun Village in Dayun Sub-District of Siak Regency and to find out the obstacles that affect the implementation. There are also indicators of the performance of clerical duties, namely carrying out correspondence, filing and compiling reports on village administration implementation, carrying out village administration and organizing village secretariat, compiling policies and coordinating, and evaluating the preparation of the headman work program, executing the tasks and functions of the headman when the headman is absent in accordance with secretarial tasks and Carry out other tasks given by the Head. The purpose of this research is to find out how the tasks carried out by clerks in Dayun village, Dayun Subdistrict, Siak Regency. This type of research is a descriptive survey with locations in Dayun Village, Dayun Subdistrict, Siak Regency. Types and sources of data that will be used are primary data and secondary data, while data collection through observations, surveys and research questionnaires. After the data is obtained then grouped according to its type in a table, then the data is analyzed and described so that conclusions can be drawn. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the evaluation of the performance of clerical duties in Dayun Village, Dayun Subdistrict, Siak Regency, of all indicators is in the quite good category with a percentage of 57%. As for the inhibiting factors, namely: (1) Service is still manual so it often wastes time. (2) The lack of a clerk's role in carrying out his duties and functions. (3) Limited human resources so that the preparation of reports and budgets is always hampered (4) Lack of training and mastery in the use of technology.
