Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of Arabic writing skill, students felt that writing Arabic was not important. Some of students were lack of understanding in writing Arabic, some of students were not be able to write Arabic clearly meanwhile teacher had been taught about the steps in writing Arabic well. In reality, students should have high skill in Arabic writing, it would be key success in developing and increasing vocabulary mastery, and arranging words and sentences. This research formulation was how the influence of recitation method on Arabic writing skill in Al-qur’an hadith lesson at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The purpose in this research was to examine the influence of recitation method on Arabic writing skill in Al-qur’an Hadith lesson at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. This research used quantitative with correlation approach. The population consisted on all class 7 at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru was 170 with sampling 119 students. In collecting data, this research used questionnaire and documentation. This research finding showed that the hypothesis about the influence of recitation method on Arabic writing skill in Al-qur’an hadith lesson was accepted with significant score 0.000. besides, the influence score showed 0.370 or 37%. It could be predicted that when the recitation method could be fixed, it could give improvement contribution in Arabic writing skill (Y) was around 0.676 or 67.6%. meanwhile if recitation method was low, it would make Arabic writing skill became low in 0.676 or 67.7%. it could be concluded that there was low influence between giving recitation method on Arabic writing skill in Al-qur’an hadith lesson at Islamic Junior High School Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.
