Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between leg muscle power and ankle coordination on long passing accuracy in extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 XIII Koto Kampar Kabupaten Kampar. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The sample in this study was the extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 XIII Koto Kampar Kabupaten Kampar, totaling 22 people. The research instrument used was the standing broadjump test, the eye and foot coordination test and the long passing accuracy test. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the level of the value of the relationship or multiple correlation. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that (1) There is a relationship between leg muscle power and long passing accuracy in extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 XIII Koto Kampar Kabupaten Kampar with a value of rhitung = 0.588> rtabel = 0.423, (2 ) There is a relationship between eye-foot coordination and long passing accuracy in extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 XIII Koto Kampar Kabupaten Kampar with a value of rhitung = 0.544> r table = 0.423, (3) There is a relationship between leg muscle power and coordination ankles to the accuracy of long passing in extracurricular students of SMA Negeri 1 XIII Koto Kampar Kabupaten Kampar with a value of rhitung = 0.650> r table = 0.423.
