Abstract
Islamic business ethic was an ethic that referenced from the Creator's Will . It meant that human will success if he followed the guidance from Creator in order to comply in religion rules. As well as the profit - sharing cooperation of palm sugar which had been done in Muara Sipongi Subdistric t, Mandailing Natal Regency . The agreement of profit - sharing was a cooperation between capital owner or landlord with the worker . In Muara Sipongi Sub - district, most of society were the farmer as a main livelihood to fulfil the needs . However, some of them have large pal garden, but also, they did not have time to and capability to manage it. Then, the farmers intended to do the cooperation with the landlord, they expected, the cooperation gave profit . The purpose of the research was to know the bagi tigo s ystem of palm sugar farmer in Muara Sipongi Sub - district, Mandailing Natal regency: perspective of Sharia Business ethics . The research problem was how the bagi tigo system of palm sugar farmer in Muara Kumpulan village, Muara Sipongi Sub - district, Mandail ing Natal regency, and was there palm sugar bagi tigot system suitable with sharia business ethics. This research used descriptive quantitative method . Sample in this research were landlord, farmers, religious leader, and village public figure in Muara Kum pulan village, Muara Sipongi Sub - district, Mandailing Natal regency . The research findings, based on the data analysis could be concluded that bagi tigo system of palm sugar farmers in Muara Kumpulan Village, Muara Sipongi Sub - district, Mandailing Natal Re gency was a bagi tigo namely Mudharabah . The bagi tigo system did not fully suitable based on sharia business ethics, however, they did this system based on customs and traditions hereditary since long years ago.
