Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid mathematics learning tool in the form of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheet (LKPD) with a discovery learning model on the material of two-variable linear equation system in class X SMK PGRI Pekanbaru which has been tested for its validity. This research on the development of mathematics learning tools uses a 4-D model. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only 3 stages were carried out, namely 1) define, 2) design, and 3) development. The data collection instruments used were the RPP validation sheet and the LKPD validation sheet. The data collection technique used was non-test with validation sheets from 2 FKIP UIR mathematics education lecturers and 2 mathematics teachers at SMK PGRI Pekanbaru. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. From the research results, the validation result of RPP is 91.06% with the validation level is very valid and the result of LKPD analysis is 89.05% with the validation level is very valid. Based on this research, it was obtained that the mathematics learning device with the discovery learning model on the material of the two-variable linear equation system in class X SMK PGRI Pekanbaru has been tested for its validity.
