Abstract

Legal protection for BPJS participants is very necessary, but many BPJS participants who are at Prima Pekanbaru Hospital complain about unsatisfactory health services, and most of the patient's families complain because they are members of the Health Social Security Administration (BPJS). Classic problems that are often experienced by patients as BPJS Kesehatan participants, among others, are not being served by the hospital, unavailability of inpatient rooms and patients having to pay for drugs, even though the patient was not informed by the hospital in advance. The main problem in this study is how the regulation of drug administration for BPJS Kesehatan participants at Prima Pekanbaru Hospital. How is the implementation of administering medicines for BPJS Kesehatan participants at Prima Pekanbaru Hospital. This type of research used in this research is observational research, is by direct field survey using the interview method and questionnaire as a means of collecting data. Meanwhile, based on the nature of this research, it is descriptive in nature, where the writer provides a clear and detailed description. Based on the results of the research conducted by the author, the regulation of drug administration for BPJS Keskes participants at Prima Pekanbaru Hospital is in accordance with the applicable procedures and the administration of drugs has received approval from the doctor as a party who is considered more knowledgeable, but the availability of drugs insufficient and limited users and there are "games" by individuals who are in hospitals or clinics that are used as health facilities (Faskes) originating from drug suppliers. And in the implementation of the provision of medicines for BPJS Kesehatan participants at Prima Hospital Pekanbaru, it has provided several steps, starting from providing options to patients, providing information regarding the price of the drug before use, but there are obstacles obtained from the patient concerned because the patient is not careful, insufficient information and lack of understanding of the types of health insurance they have.
