Abstract

Analysis of Public Opinion Against the Implementation of Pekanbaru City Regulation Number 08 of 2014 concerning Waste Management (Study of Group Opinions in Communities Domiciled Around Illegal Tps) Riana Feronika 159110005 The study is supported by an opinion promoted by local policy on waste management and a fine of money imposed by the new pekangovernment to make a clean and natural environment, the concept used in the study as the R.P Abelson (1968), the method used in the study is qualitative. with five major informants and five public informants as supporters. Data collected through the process of observation, interview, and documentation analyzed by the concept of R.P Abelson (1968), The results of this study are based on the public opinion of the public opinion that is linked to the belief (belive) in that there is a new system of rules and work done by the government of the new system of garbage management or the sanctions that will be awarded to the indiscriminate disposal of garbage, "Attitude," that is, attitude of the people living around the temporary dumping ground, As well as perception (perception) societies that generate controversy over the regional rule on waste management in the new city community it is relevant to the lack of a cultural background or practices practiced by society.
