Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 virus in the world has had a major impact on the entire population throughout the world, various problems arising from health, economy, work and even the world of education are also affected. The background in this study is the form of communication patterns between teachers and students that took place at SDN 007 Suka Maju Offline (outside the network) during the pandemic due to limited communication between teachers and students, thus providing abnormal communication patterns between teachers and students such as normal. This study aims to determine the pattern of communication between teachers and students that took place during the pandemic. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects in this study used a purposive sampling technique with 8 informants. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, in-depth interviews and equipped with documentation. The results of this study state that the communication pattern that occurred at SDN 007 Suka Maju during this pandemic began with the school making policies that were deliberately made to follow government regulations, such as the policy of dividing student admission hours into two stages, using masks in the school environment, washing hands. , maintain distance, speed up learning time and with learning communication patterns that are run starting from the time of entry, study, question and answer sessions, giving grades to students and going home. All of the above is done by following the policies set by the school. While the communication pattern in learning between teachers and students uses primary communication patterns, the teacher becomes a communicator in delivering lessons using whiteboards and LKS books (student worksheets) which are delivered to students as communicants so that students understand the lessons given by the teacher. this is called primary communication because primary communication is a process of delivery by the communicator to the communicant by using a symbol as a medium or channel.
