Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main Hormone of Superior Plants and Grand K on the Growth and Production of Purple Corn Plants. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, from October to December 2020. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is Superior Plant Hormone consisting of doses of 0, 4, 6 and 8 cc per liter of water. The second factor was Grand K fertilizer which consisted of 0, 6, 12 and 18 grams per plot with 3 replications, there were 16 treatment combinations with 48 experimental units. Each unit consisted of 4 plants, and 2 observational sample plants, the total number of plants was 192 stems. Parameters observed were plant height, age of emergence of female flowers, length of cob per plant, weight of cob per plant, number of cob rows and production per plot. The results of the observations carried out analysis of variance, further tested for honest significant difference (BNJ) at 5% level. From the results of the study it was concluded that the interaction of superior plant hormones and Grand K fertilizer was significant on the parameters of female flower age, cob weight per plant, number of cob rows and production per plant. plots. The best treatment for superior plant hormones was 8 cc/liter of water and 18 gr/plot of Grand K fertilizer. The main effect of superior plant hormone was significantly on all parameters, the best treatment was superior plant hormone 8 cc/liter of water. The main effect of Grand K fertilizer was real on all parameters, the best treatment was Grand K 18 gr/plot.
