Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction of POC Banana Peel Waste and Kascing Fertilizer on the Growth and Production of Long Bean Renek. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Marpoyan Stop, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. The research will be carried out for 4. The design used in the study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is liquid organic fertilizer banana peel waste (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 300, 600 and 900 ml per liter and the second factor is Kascing fertilizer (K) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 605, 1210 and 1815 g per liter. plots. From these two treatments, 16 treatment combinations were obtained, each treatment combination was repeated 3 times so that there were 48 experimental units. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods per plant, longest pod length, pod weight per plant, and number of remaining pods. The data obtained were analyzed for variance and then continued with the significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of POC banana peel waste and vermicompost fertilizer was significant on all parameters except flowering and harvesting age, the best treatment was POC banana peel waste 900 ml/l and vermicompost 1815 g/plot. The main effect of POC on banana peel waste was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment of POC banana peel waste was 900 ml/l. The main effect of vermicompost was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment of vermicompost was 1815 g/plot.
