Abstract
Income and Expenditure of Broiler Breeder Households in Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City. Under the guidance of Dr. Mrs. Elinur, SP., M. Si. This study analyzed household income and expenses of broiler breeders in Rumbai Pesisir sub-district in Pekanbaru City. This study aims to analyze 1) the characteristics of broiler breeders in Rumbai Pesisir District, 2) the structure of broiler breeders' household income, 3) food and non-food expenditures of broiler breeders and 4) to analyze the factors that affect the household expenditure of broilers in broilers. Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City. The method used in this study is a survey method, the sample in this study was taken by census. The data analysis used is descriptive (qualitative and quantitative) and Multiple Linear Regression with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of the research on the characteristics of broiler household samples in Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City, such as the average age of broiler breeders, 36.1 years (productive age), the education level of broiler breeders an average of 8.6 years (low education / not yet completed junior high school ), the average number of broiler breeder family members is 2.4 people, experience in broiler farming is 6.1 years. The household income structure of broilers in Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City comes from broiler farming itself. The average broiler farm income is Rp 260,741,520.83 / year. The average food expenditure was Rp 18,821,700.00 / year (72.70%), and the average non-food expenditure was Rp 7,053,600.00 / year (27.30%). Significant factors that influence farmer household expenditures in Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City are the number of family members, while household income and education level of the head of the family are not significant.
