Abstract

Relationship between arm power and eye- hand coordination with the accuracy of table tennis forehand strokes in male athletes PPLP Riau The aim was to determine the relationship between arm power and eye-to- hand coordination with the accuracy of table tennis forehand strokes in male athletes of PPLP Riau. This type of research is a multiple correlation study. The population in this study were 10 PPLP Riau athletes. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total sample of 8 sons. The research instrument used was a seated medicine ball throw test, a tennis ball catch test, and a table tennis forehand stroke accuracy test. Based on the calculation results obtained = 0.06, the value of = 0.38, and the value of multiple correlation is = 0.40. The conclusions of this study are: (1) there is no relationship between arm power and the accuracy of table tennis forehand in male athletes of PPLP Riau. (2) there is no relationship between eye-hand coordination and accuracy of table tennis forehand strokes in male athletes of PPLP Riau. (3) there is no relationship between arm power and eye-hand coordination with the accuracy of table tennis forehand strokes in male athletes of PPLP Riau.
