Abstract

This study aims to determine how the recruitment and selection process of employees at PT. Alfa Kencana Samudra, Rengat City of Indragiri Hulu. This research was conducted with a descriptive method, namely by analyzing the data that had been collected from the research results and connected with the theoretical foundations in the literature review. The population in this study is the population in this study are employees of PT. Alfa Kencana Samudra, which is located in the city of Rengat Indragiri Hulu, Riau Province, as many as 100 employees. To determine the number of samples used for this research is to focus on employees of PT. Alfa Kencana Samudra received in 2019 with a total of 42 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used the sensus method, which determines the size of the research sample based on certain considerations. Based on the recapitulation, it can be concluded that the Employee Recruitment variable at PT. Alfa Kencana Samudra. Being on the assessment criteria in the category strongly agree, and in the recapitulation of the selection it can be concluded that the Employee Selection variable at PT. Alfa Kencana Samudra. That the assessment criteria are in the agreed category and the recruitment and selection of PT. Alfa Kencana Samudra is already effective and efficient. It can be seen from the answers of respondents in the recruitment and selection process at PT. Alfa Kencana Samudra observes the following matters from within the company (internal) and sources from outside the company (external) and a series of selection.
