Abstract

Police means a government agency tasked with maintaining public security and order. A quality police officer requires perseverance in work, agility and discipline that can affect productivity at work. However, the fact is that based on the experience of researchers when I was a street vendor at the Riau Police, there were a group of members of the National Police who were still undisciplined in carrying out their duties. Therefore, this research aims at how the influence of work discipline on work productivity, specifically on members of the Riau Police Police. The subjects in this study were 100 members of the Riau Police, who were selected using the quota sampling technique. In this study, the work discipline scale and work productivity scale were used. Statistical analysis used is Pearson product moment which shows the correlation coefficient r value of 0.854 with p of 0.000 (p <0.05). The result of this research is that there is a significant and positive relationship between work discipline and work productivity. This means that the higher the work discipline, the higher the work productivity, on the contrary if the work discipline is low, the level of work productivity of Polri members in carrying out their duties is also low.
