Abstract

this study is the low concentration of students in learning, especially in learning Islamic Studies. In this case, the symptoms are: some students do not pay attention to the teacher during learning, some students do not focus, some students are not enthusiastic in learning, and some students are not quiet in the learning process. The problem formulation of this study is whether there is an effect of using cooperative script method on students’ concentration in learning Islamic Studies at SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. This study aims to investigate the effect of using cooperative script method on students’ concentration in learning Islamic Studies at SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik in the academic year of 2020/2021. The type of this study is quantitative research with a correlation approach. The population of this study is all students in class XI at SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik totaling 209 students with a sample of 137 students. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study show that the effect of using cooperative script method on students’ learning concentration is accepted with a significant value of 0.000. The magnitude of influence is quite strong (0.503 or 50.3%). So, it can be predicted that if the cooperative script method increases, it will increase the students’ learning concentration by 0.709 or 70.9% . Conversely, if the cooperative script method decreases, then the students’ learning concentration will decrease by 0.709 or 70.9%. So, it can be concluded that there is a strong influence of the cooperative script method on the students concentration in learning Islamic Studies at SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik.
