Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the recruitment of candidates for State Civil Apparatus through the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) System by the Regional Personnel Agency of Riau Province. The benchmarks in this study are: Strategy Formulation, Searching for job applicants, Eliminating unsuitable applicants, and collecting applicants. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to implement the recruitment of Candidates for State Civil Apparatus through the CAT System in Riau Province. The location of this research was conducted at the Regional Personnel Agency office of Riau Province, which is located at Jalan Cut nyak dien, Jadirejo, Sukajadi District with the number of the Recruitment Executing Committee is 38 people and the community respondents are 20 people. The results of this study conclude that the overall Implementation of the Recruitment of Candidates for State Civil Apparatus through the CAT system by the Regional Personnel Board of Riau Province is in the Implemented category. The obstacles in the implementation of this recruitment are, direct socialization that has not been carried out to the community, the facilities and infrastructure provided are not optimal, as well as the limited sources of experts owned by the Regional Personnel Agency, and the standard for passing the administrative selection is not yet optimal.
