Abstract
The efforts to build studentS morals to behave more properly in daily life through learning activities at school can be done by applying at least four alternative integrated strategies. One of the factors causing the failure of Islamic Education so far is the lack of moral values of students, the weakness of Islamic Education at Ibtida Wittaya Narathiwat school in southern Thailand at the basic / pra'thom level because the process of education only emphasized on transferring knowledge to students, there was no process of transformation of religious noble values to the students which will guide them to be humans with strong personality and noble character. The aim of this study is to investigate and describe the teachers’ efforts to build moral values. The type of this study is a qualitative method of field research by examining the teachers of elementary / pra'thom at Ibtida Wittaya level as many as 5 teachers. The data collection technique used is interview and then the data are analyzed by using the steps: 1) Data reduction; 2) Data Displays; 3) Conclusion. The results of this study are: 1) being a role model in speech and action; 2) encouraging to respect the parents; 3) having students pay attention to the lesson; 4) encouranging students to be honest; 5) encouranging students to speak politely; 6) speaking politely to others; 7) reciting the Qur'an; 8) respecting older people; 9) encouranging to do obedience to Allah and the Apostle; 10) Practicing good manners in relationships; 11) applying greetings.
